This is a new Gearbox Input Shaft to suit Toyota Hilux 1983 to 2004 with 5 speed gearbox and 4cyl Petrol and 4 cyl non Turbo Diesel.
Models include LN60, LN61, LN65, LN106, LN107, LN111, LN130, LN147, LN152, LN167, LN172, YN57, YN58, YN60, YN63, YN65, YN67.
Also suits Landcruiser RJ70 with 2.4L 4 Cyl 22R engine.

Attention to detail needed when ordering this part.
Due to parts unavailability, after failure many early hilux's (up to 1989) have the gearbox changed to later model (from 1989) gearbox rather than repair original box.
The difference between the two is minimal and not usually noticed until another failure and internal gearbox parts are required.
This input shaft measures 41.0mm from the outer edge of the synchro friction surface to the bearing shoulder on the 4th gear cog on the shaft.

This suits the later model gearboxes.
If you have the wrong input shaft installed you could either experience binding in 3rd gear or no drive in 4th gear.
The input shaft for the earlier gearboxes is part number 33301-28011 or 33301-26012.
