Most brake systems require that the towing vehicle be fitted with a electronic brake controller in order to tow a trailer or caravan which has electric brakes.
These controllers allow the driver to monitor and adjust braking forces applied to the towed unit.
This means the towing vehicle needs to be modified in order to legally tow the trailer or caravan.
If you need to tow the trailer or caravan behind another vehicle it must first have a brake controller installed.

The EB2 brake controller is fitted to the trailer or caravan and allows the driver to monitor and adjust the trailers electric brakes from the towing vehicle using a Bluetooth capable smart phone - Apple or Android.
This means the trailer or caravan can be towed by ANY SUITABLY RATED VEHICLE as long as the phone is mounted in an approved cradle and has power connected / on charge.

- In case of loss of Bluetooth signal or phone battery/charge the unit will continue to operate at the last configured setting.
- Elecbrakes ELBC2000 can be used in conjunction with sway control devices.
- Elecbrakes normally uses power from the tail light wiring - park lights need to be turned on while using the Elecbrake unit.
- The unit does have a second or auxiliary power input so can be configured to use a different power source.
- Uses high speed micro processors and various sensors to continuously monitor driving conditions and 1000x per second.

NOTE: Audi, Ford Ranger, Range Rover and Late Land Rover models all require a patch harness to be fitted along with this product. Without this patch harness, the brake lights will "pulse" which will interfere with the Elecbrake unit.

- All Four x 4 will not be liable for any repairs or work carried out, without prior approval from All Four x 4.
- Warranty is void if parts have been tampered with, modified or dismantled.
- Goods cannot be returned if they have been specially ordered or vehicle cut section.
- Goods not required must be returned within 14 Days of invoice date at purchaser’s expense. Goods will be accepted only at the Management’s discretion. If accepted for return, such goods will be subject to a 15% handling charge.
- Good will not be accepted for return if they have been fitted, unless proven faulty.
- Warranty is void for components used in performance / modified vehicles or parts / competition / off road / race applications.
