Fitting an EGR blanking plate significantly improves the operation of a vehicles engine. It allows for cooler intake and combustion temperatures resulting in more power being developed while less fuel is used. The turbo will also spool up faster and sooner. It also reduces corrosive sludge and carbon build-up in the intake system and lubricating system meaning engine oil stays cleaner longer therefore providing extended engine life. This plate fits to the exhaust side of the EGR cooler. It is made from 1.5mm thick, 304 grade stainless steel. Mounting holes are 48.5mm centre to centre. Some vehicles may require an 8-10mm relief hole to be drilled in the centre of this plate to allow for pressure equalisation in case of error/fault code generated by the ECU. Models include Hilux KUN16 and KUN26 2/2005-6/2011 and Prado KDJ120 8/2006-7/2009 and KDJ150 8/2013 On. This part is for off road use only.

I have not yet assembled the parts, but given the perfect correspondence with the seats do not think there will be problems.
